What will you do?

As a Business Application Specialist O2C you work on an operational level and you are responsible for the architecture, configuration and development of IT solutions. You analyse change proposals, come up with IT solutions and perform system modifications within the O2C process with the aim of supporting the business and the business processes in the best possible way (in the field of ICT, information and Administrative Organisation).

You work together with the IT Business Analyst and Key users to design and deliver solutions that will support the business in achieving its goals on operational, tactical and strategic level. You are part of the ICT department that is engaged in the development of information systems and infrastructure management for all businesses of ForFarmers. You report to the Application Manager.

Tasks and responsibilities as a Business Application Specialist O2C

  • Prepare technical design of applications in line with specifications, perform impact analysis on system environment and prepare the physical environment.
  • Program and configure software applications.
  • Perform system tests and analyse, evaluate ad document the test results.
  • Provide second line support to users and apply corrections and fixes to resolve issues.
  • Document internal business processes and keep work instructions and procedures up-to-date.
  • Participate in business projects, coach and train users and take care of system and user documentation.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor degree.
  • Completed training in the field of business informatics.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar function.
  • SAP-expert and knowledge of MS Office.
  • Affinity with process improvement and automation.
  • Good communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal.
